Ciabatta
Made in small batches with a little olive oil and allowed to develop slowly for a delicious flavour, an open texture, and a light crisp crust.
Ingredients
Fortified Wheat Flour [Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin (B3), Thiamin (B1)], Water, Fermented Wheat Flour, Salt, Yeast, Olive Oil, Flour Treatment Agent (Vitamin C).
For allergens, including cereals containing Gluten, see highlighted ingredients. May contain Sesame seeds.
Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans.
Storage Instructions
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight until the best before date shown on the front of the pack. Once opened bake immediately, or refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
Suitable for home freezing. Freeze on the day of purchase and consume within 1 month. Defrost thoroughly and use within 24 hours. Once thawed, do not refreeze.
Packed in a protective atmosphere.
Baking Instructions
Preheat oven to 210˚C (Gas Mark 7) and remove from packaging. Sprinkle lightly with water and bake directly on the oven shelf for 7-8 minutes minutes. Allow to cool and enjoy!!
Our ciabatta can be baked from frozen by adding 2 minutes to the baking times above.
Alternatively, you can simply cut your ciabatta to size and toast on a medium to high heat for 2-3 minutes.
